Administrative Assistant
Hnin Johnson is a highly skilled and experienced professional with a diverse educational background. She was born in Burma/Myanmar and later lived in Singapore, where she worked in the semiconductor industry before switching careers. During the Great Recession, Hnin moved to the United States to pursue the American Dream and to better support herself and her aging parents. Hnin now holds dual Master's degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle, one in Public Administration with a concentration in Analysis and Evaluation and the other in Social Work with a concentration in Community-Centered Integrative Practice. She has significant experience in various fields, including project management, policy analysis, program evaluation, and technology. Hnin initially believed that only a higher-up job position or status could make a positive impact in the world. However, the COVID-19 pandemic and her meditation practice have changed her beliefs. Now, she sees that making small contributions can and will lead to more significant positive impacts in the universe. With that understanding, she joined Be Possible as a part-time Administrative Assistant in 2023. Hnin is happily married to an Ohio-born public school teacher whom she met on the aloha-filled island of Oahu. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering and practicing Samantha-Vipassana meditation.
